Sealed bids for the construction of SLOCOMB HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PARKING LOT REPLACEMENT, will be received by the Geneva County Board of Education at 606 South Academy Street; Geneva, Alabama 36340, until 10:00 am Central Standard Time, May 28, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud.
Work of the Project consists of, in general, the replacement approximately of the student parking which consists of 4,025 SY of asphalt and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work.
The Owner requires the project to be completed within twenty-one (21) consecutive calendar days.

All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, Bidder’s license number, address and name of the project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder. All bidders shall submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last 3 years, having at a minimum the same scope of work and approximate construction cost as specified in this project. All bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor’s Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
